What's new
What changes at Utiliobox, with dates. Newest first.
· Guides are here, and four tools get sharper
- A new guides section: articles that solve one specific problem end to end, from a Wi-Fi QR code that says “incorrect password” to a CSV that refuses to load into your database.
- Every tool now shows the date it was last reviewed, and the sitemap tells search engines each page’s real date instead of the day it was generated.
- This page, so you can see what changes and when.
- CSV to SQL works out whether dates are month/day or day/month from the whole column, and says so when it has to assume. Codes with leading zeros and ambiguous numbers like 1,234 stay text instead of changing value.
- The QR code generator leaves the four modules of white margin the standard asks for, not one.
- The PDF tools finish downloading their engines as soon as you add a file, so you can go offline and keep working.
- The password generator now computes passphrase-with-number entropy exactly.
· One home page for both languages
- The main address, utiliobox.com, no longer bounces you somewhere else: it is now a home page of its own in English and Spanish, linking all twenty-four tools in both languages.
- Your browser language is now only suggested with a bar on your first visit; the site never switches pages without asking.
- The site’s plain-text files are served as UTF-8 and no longer show garbled characters.
· Pages that don’t jump while loading
- On slow connections, pages shifted while loading: the text moved right as you were about to tap. All four causes are fixed —the header, each tool’s card, the ad slots and the font swap— and the measured residual shift is zero.
- The tool list on the home page now ships inside the page and no longer needs JavaScript to appear.
